Introduction

Within the framework of Planet Budapest 2021, the common trade fair of Visegrád Countries on sustainable development and green innovations in Central Europe will be held under the name “Nature Friendly Development”. The aim of the one-week professional event is to present a wide range of innovative and competitive solutions that can be easily integrated into our daily lives and can provide a real answer to growing global environmental, economic and social challenges.

During the event, exhibitors from the Visegrád Countries will occupy a total of 19,000 square meters as they present the latest Central European developments that modernise the food industry, water management, the energy sector, waste management, transport, and cities and homes, as well as promote a shift towards sustainable development. In addition, ideas and solutions from start-ups will also play a key role among professional exhibitors.

The Expo offers excellent networking and business opportunities for professionals, decision-makers, representatives from the scientific and civil society, the financial world and various professional organisations interested in sustainable development. The event will provide an opportunity for those interested to expand their international contacts, facilitate the exchange of experiences between participants, and allow companies to showcase their products and services through presentations and workshops.

The Nature Friendly Development – Sustainability Expo is co-organised with the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency.
